Well With the Nintendi Wii you get bored of it very quickly and im not the sort of person who gets bored quickly so i wuold not reccomend it unless you want to buy a game every week.

4 out of 5 stars Always Awsome   September 13, 2008

I already owned PS3 and 360 but wanted something with a more fun edge, Now don't buy the wii expecting to be blown away with graphics and intense game play like on the other platforms, the wii can't even be compared and should be considered more a party/social video gaming experiance,The wii offers a massive library of games however 50% of them are terrible and I highly advise reading plenty of reviews before buying games.

some of my better gaming experiances I've had on the wii have been with: (in order of best to worse)
Mario Kart (4 players can battle it out on the tracks, this is the best of all the games)
Mario Galaxy (Amazing and well worthy its place in the mario francis)
Super Smash Bros Brawl (doesn't just require button bashing, like most fighting games)
Rayman raving rabbids (interesting, full of fun mini games and worth a go)
The Sims Castaway (not the best but worthy of a sims fan)

and the worse games i've bought are:
Bomberman (gets old to quickly)
Rampage (gets boring, although Expertly cheap)
Super Monkey Ball
Mario Party 8
Super Paper Mario (shocking and this is coming from a long standing mario fan)

Hope this helps some people.

After all the hype , i was duped into buying wii and the wii fit.
It is very clever but after a few initial trys, jogging on the spot and some bowling games it gets a little repeteitive.
It has now sat under the tv for 4 months and will do so longer i expect.
Walk the dog or go swimming! that work`s a lot better!

I have had my wii now for a couple of years and it now has a few odd plays every so often. I still love the concept and it is much more interaction than my old Xbox. I am just a bit disappointed that the online element to the console is really limited to sharing your Mii characters and not playing against other wii owners. The whole system is really easy to set up to your tv and has been very reliable. Still would recommend this console to anyone.
